A ‘population Army’ will soon distribute contraceptives and create awareness about population control in Assam’s Muslim-Majority, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Monday at the Assembly. Sarma told the Assembly of a population explosion in the western and central parts of the state.
