Delhi’s three iconic buildings – the National Museum, the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), the National Archives Annexe – emblematic of its history and culture are set to be demolished as part of the centre’s ₹ 20,000 crore Central Vista project that envisages a new parliament building, and new residences for the Prime Minister and the Vice President.
