Assembly Elections 2021 Live Updates: Polling concludes, 79.79% voter turnout in Bengal, 75.04% in Assam

Voting was held in a total of 77 seats — 47 in Assam and 30 in West Bengal——in the first phase of polling for the 2021 Assembly elections. Overall, West Bengal recorded 79.79% voter turnout and Assam registered 75.04% turnout in the first phase of polling for the assembly elections.
