The first consignment of Covishield vaccines left the Serum Institute of India in the early hours of Tuesday to be flown to various parts of the country from Pune Airport. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep S Puri said Air India, SpiceJet and IndiGo will help out with distributing the “56.5 lakh doses of Covishield” to many cities including Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and others.
