150 eminent citizens from across the nation including retired judges including former CJIs of few High Courts, former RAW chief, retired IPS officers including former DGPs of few states, former diplomats, bureaucrats, army veterans have written to President Ram Nath Kovind calling out on tyrannical autocratic Mamta led TMC’s “state terror” in West Bengal. They have demanded that the “cases of murders, rapes, attempted rapes, attacks on persons and property, including by anti-national elements, leading to forced migration of people to shelter homes, targeting scheduled castes and tribes, and incidents of religious sacrilege” be transferred to NIA for free and fair investigation. Complicity of local administration and state police has been highlighted in the petition.
