The Board of Vedanta has approved the appointment of Ajay Goel as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company with effect from October 30, 2023.

Goel has resigned as Byju’s CFO barely six months after joining the edtech company.

“We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held today, has considered and on the recommendation of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved the appointment of Ajay Goel as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company with effect from October 30, 2023,” the company said in a filing today.
