Salient points as we see them:-
1. First president Putin is fit fine and healthy mentally as well as physically despite the rumours that one can see abt his health on the net.
2. He is mentally agile and intelligent person, the way he responds. Even if a person has prepared for hours and done research its a different story to answer to a tough journalist .
3. He starts with a good lecture on Russia /Ukraine history right from 862 AD. Though this seems to be unnceswssary and boring but he has ttied to put things in correct perspective and which is Ukriane was never there before and was all part of Russia and poland. By doing so he has also addressed a wide section of european population.
4. His answer on sabotage of Nord stream gas pipiline connecting Russia and Germany is indirect but perfect and leaves no room for guessing.
5. He seems to be morw than willing for a peaceful negotiation and leaves the ball in US and even Ukraine court.
6. He has squarely blamed US for the mesa and war with examples feom 2008 and 2014 where as per him US went back from its promises on Nato expansion.
7. Interestingly he has endorsed china and XI, in no uncertain terms. This seems to be very critical point that need to be understood. First he has assuured china about their relationship. Second he has alao convveyed to US that whether they like it or not Russia China are going ahead.
8. Somehow he has given fair and correct opinion to US esp on issue of dollar aa a global currency and rise of BrICS trade with other currencies.

9. Many questions he could have answered directly by blaming US, but he has chosen not to. After all this will be the biggest audience and an opportunity to address a global.population but he has gone for it speaks many things. For example he could have been more critical and showered america with more abuses esp on policy issues, agencies, politicians etc but he has not. He still says he is unable to understand America. This is important point.
10. Similarly he has not gone after ukranian president zelensky though one wud have thought that he wud have cursed him. But he remains within his boundary of decent n fair conversion.
So we are of the opinion that President Putin wins this round of interview with a neat and fair arguments in his part.
Trucker did best what he could do with some sharp unexpected questions which Pres. Putin handled well without any nervous ness or striuggling to answer.
